Filtered Water  

We have a filter pitcher. It keeps the water cold and tastes a bit better. We keep water on hand for emergency and camping purposes.

No matter what they say, tap water in my town is horrible. When you see sediments in the bottom of the glass from the tap, you have to wonder what is going on. It's not the pipes, I have a relatively new house - 3 years old. So I will take my chances on filtered water. I have Culligan in the kitchen for cooking and we buy bottled water for the cooler for drinking. I think you are wise to be safe with the Brita system.

I use a Brita water filter as well. I like having the filter vs. the under the counter filter because I keep the Brita filter in the refrigerator because I like having cold water. One thing you can do, is pour the filtered water into a gallon container and that way, you don't have to continuously fill the water pitcher.

Well i have Aqua guard now to purify the water. Its better to boil ,filter the water and drink to avoid the diseases spreading
