It's the best horror movie I've seen lately and one of the best vampire movies ever. Oscar is a lonely 12 years old boy who is bullied at school. He doesn't have any friends until he meets a girl named Eli who just moved next doors. Their relationship is growing strong even after he discovers that she's a vampire.
It has great atmosphere and realistic feel to it.
I recommend it to everyone.

I just found this movie and it is now my all time favorite Vampire movie. I wouldn't call it horror though, more of a romance actually. And yes, I understood the thing about the thing (don't want to throw out any spoilers 
).
