How important is to marry a person who has your nationality?

Well you know you can`t control who you fall in love with. It is what it is. If you are going to date someone who is of another race or nationality do it because you are in love with that person. Don`t do it because you think it would be cool, there are different or any of those . As someone who is about to marry someone from another country you also need to know the customs and culture of that country. Last understand that there are going to be some problems but you need to know that you can work it out if you try.

There are advantages and disadvantages for both marrying a person of your nationality or not. If you marry the one of your personality, at least we know the traditions so it doesn't need a long time to adjust to your spouse' way of living. The disadvantages are you have to "marry" her/his family/relatives, meaning that you are sort of tied to them. They may interfere with your life when you stumble a marriage problem.

Hi there! If I can choose, I would also prefer marrying someone of the same race. I would be more comfortable with someone who has the same beliefs as mine cause I believe we would have less hard time understanding each other. And the fact that we have the same nationality, somehow I would have an idea what kind of person he is. I don't know that others feel that marrying a different nationality is healthier and would have smarter kids. I believe having a healthy marriage doesn't depend on nationalities but on the person we are marrying. As long as couples understand each other and there is love, no barrier such as difference in nationality can be a hindrance to a healthy marriage. Ciao!
