That's how I'd feel if a person from the government said this to me. I'd wonder what is it this person wants? I guess this is in my nature when it comes to the government, suspision.
It's hard to trust the government with all they have done and do.
They just want our money and keep finding more ways to get it for spending on things they want to support. I don't trust them as far as I can get in the levels of their establishment wheich is not past the first floor so to speak. lol

| moondancer (2948) | 12 months ago | Yes, you are right but after over 50 years of dealing with "the government" and their way of doing things they all say they are going to do this or that when running for office...then they do hardly anything they promised when in office.
Some of them may have full intention of getting in and changing things, then they get sucked into the "regular" way of things the way they have been for years. In fact many times the others pick people to run that they can control.
Things will get better, but it needs to be sooner than later. | |

well, even if it only five words, i would really be terrified. i dunno, we are supposed to trust our government, after all, we were the ones who put these officials in their place, but it seems we cannot trust them.
maybe we can trust them as a whole, like as a majority, but not with our individual concerns. we know that the government can come after us and make our lives hell. as much as possible, we would like to stay away from government and the government officials. we don;t want them poking into our lives. this can get messy, lol
anyway, i would not want them into my life as well. i mean, they just run the government, not my life.
