|  So me and some of my friends believe in the same thing. On something thats illegal but shouldn't be only difference is. I don't do it some of them do. My parents are against it. And so any ways my 16th birthday is commein up and i'm takin advantage of it. I believe that your 16th birthday should be the biggest day and party of your life. although it probably isnt. But anyways one of my friends asked them if it was okay if they did this at my house hints their parents don't really care if they do or don't and besides they don't pay attention anyways. I told them it was fine as long as it was outside because I have a problem with it in the house. Now I know my parents disagree and I haven't told them yet what I told my friend but they know I don't believe that it should be the law so is this right or wrong??

| |  Well with it being illegal I would not even let it come on to my property. If the law gets called and someone is caught with it they are not the only persont hat will get into trouble. I believe it is wrong. I would not even let them come over if they have it on them

| |  If it's illegal do you know what could happen to your parents if the wrong people found out, like the parents of the kids doing this and reporting your parents to the authorities. At 16 we tend to think only of ourselves and are not into the larger picture. Just give this some thought please

| |  I personally do not believe that just because it is against the law it is wrong, and if I were to partake in such a activity I would be aware of the consequences, not just the short term pleasure.
In this situation however I agree with the previous posts that you should not allow this person on the premises. If it is against the law, it is and no amount of protesting is going to change that. I would not risk getting in legal trouble because a friend of yours is engaging in this type of activity. If you do not want to lose friends over this, (not that I imagine you will) but if they are sensitive about it ask them to do whatever they want to do before they show up at your house and find someone who is sober to take them to your house afterwards.

| |  Ok so the "illegal" thing that your going to do I feel it should be legal if it is what I think it is I think that this is something that you should talk to your parents about and let them know how strong you feel about this and tell them that this is something that you strongly beleave in and that " that they have taught you to stand for what you beleave in" and maybe check out the web site to help you out a lil www.SAFERchoice.org

| |  Remember that your 16th birthday will be dwarfed by your 18th and your 21st. There are a lot of arbitrary restrictions in life and in law, so be smart about your decisions, whatever they may be. If it is a mind altering substance you plan on indulging in, make sure there is someone who is staying sober and in charge of everyone no matter what. Have fun, but be safe, you can do both, I promise.

| |  if u r doing it inside the house and the parents approve, i think it is ok as long as whoever is doing it will accept the responsibility that goes with it. enjoy yourself, but if anything goes wrong, then accept the responsibility.
