| 2. shyguy_2004 (72) | 12 months ago | I definitely also like Kobe as my favorite basketball player. I am a big Laker fan, so ever since I've been watching basketball, I've seen Kobe play for the majority of his NBA career. He makes tough shots look easy, and he can change the game on his own. So many times when the Lakers have needed help, Kobe has came up big. So Kobe is my favorite player in the NBA.

lokiblitz (157) | 12 months ago | Kobe really is such a good basketball player.Whats good is hes become mature now to lead a team. But i dont like him before because of his attitude.

|
| shyguy_2004 (72) | 12 months ago | Yeah, Kobe's leadership has definitely improved, and is more of a team guy now than he was in the past. Those two things are part of the reason why the Lakers are playing so well.

lokiblitz (157) | 12 months ago | I hope that he can carry that attitude on to the finals and lead his team to victory. Its about time for him to win a championship without Oneal.

|
| shyguy_2004 (72) | 12 months ago | Definitely. As long as he stays the course and everyone else is still producing like they are now, the Lakers should win the championship.

6. boy_bato (538) | 11 months ago | all time would be Michael Jordan. who doesn't? MJ is not just a good players with all the skills but he's a role model as well. he's got the drive that normal people doesn't have. he's got unbelievable passion and the will to win. he works hard even though he already know that he's already at the top of his game. MJ is not only all about skill and talent, he's all about heart and will.
of all the current active players, Wake Forest products Chris Paul and Tim Duncan gets my vote. first is Timmy. Duncan led San Antonio to 4 NBA titles and arguably became the team of the decade after the Bulls. Duncan is a no fancy player and is grounded on fundamentals, he simply gets the job done. he is efficient in both offense and defense and is consistent too, averaging about 20 points and 9 rebounds in his whole NBA career. Duncan's aura also extends beyond the basketball court. established NBA stars Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili came into the league as nobodies but with the help of Duncan and the entire Spurs management, they became perennial stars.
Chris Paul. what made me like CP3 is his story before making it to the NBA. Paul once scored 61 points in high school as a dedication to his grand father who died at the age of 61. before the game, Paul said that he will dedicate every point he makes for every year his grand pop has lived. he was just 5 points short of tying the team record and 6 points short of breaking it but decided to finish the game with 61, he was sent to the bench after making his 61st point. in the NBA, Paul carried much of the New Orleans Hornets load in his very young back. as a rookie, he turned the team around by almost making it to the playoffs, a season after they won a measly 22 games the previous season. Paul has just become better and better every season and ended up second to Kobe Bryant in the 2008 MVP polls.
