Superstition and other strange happenings

When I was a kid.I would always get that feeling that someone was behind me..But never was.(You know that strange scary/not scared sensation)that makes you turn too look).As an adult I do not have these sensations anymore..do you think it was some type of supernatural enemy or perhaps a gurdian angel guarding me as a child..I am not super supersticious and I know alot of you are rolling your eyes but pondering the unknown is something that interests me.
