My grandma was one of those old time feed your kids all day kind of grandmas.I remember as A child my granny showing me her hand and telling me what was from what and when she burned it.She called those her cooking wounds. The older I become and the more and more I cook for my loved ones I myself have those small cooking wounds to pass the stories dowm to my grankids..It really hits a soft spot in life when all of a sudden you just get it.Something someone has said your whole life you just get it...Please share any heart felt stories such as mine..

That's called age dear! LOL The older you get the more things you will find that you "get". I remember my grannies cooking wounds too! I have many to pass on myself! As kids we used to laugh at her "Old sayings" too and now I find myself repeating them with my kids! It brings a smile to know that I can pass them on to my kids.
