Saraswatee Poojaa...!

Today is 'Saraswatee Poojaa'! People throughout my country worship Goddess 'Saraswatee' on this auspicious day that is also known as 'Vasant Panchamee'. Traditionally, Goddess 'Saraswatee' is worshipped to bless us with 'Creativity, Learning and Wisdom'. Mostly in schools, colleges and Universities as well as creative institutions this is one of the main traditional celebrations among all!
So, on this occasion, let us pray Goddess 'Saraswatee' to bless all of us with 'Creativity, Learning and Wisdom'!

Sorry I'm a bit late replying to this one pal. We went to Saraswati Puja at a family friend's house and had a lovely day and evening. My friends brought their children and they brought their school and college books to be blessed. My friend even brought his laptop to be blessed hehe! Am attaching a photo of our Saraswati Puja:)

hi mitraa..sorry for the late reply..i too used to post like you about our festival..now a days most of the festival are that much grant to me..this pooja too..went with very silent.here in my home mom only did everything.i was simply sitting in internet..this is very bad too say and think..all have to change...have a nice time with mylotting

Hello Mitraa Thanks for remembering the auspicious day. I think no Indian can forget this traditional auspicious day. We Indian believe in culture, creativity & wisdom for which Indians are called storage of rich cultural heritage. This vasant panchamee is really auspicious for us and we worship Devi Saraswatee , who is known as goddess of wisdom ,education. On the day of Vasant Panchamee all school /college going children and adult also do fast and worship goddess saraswatee and offer Pushpanjalee . Let us pray before goddess saraswatee to bless us and whole world with wisdom so that entire human beings can spread the message of humanity.

Yes, Vasant Panchamee (or is it Basant Panchmi ? ) is an important festival in Hindu calendar . This is celebrated quite a lot .

Hi friend! I had a great time today celebrating Saraswati Puja. In Bengal all the girls wear Saree today and I had gone out with my friends to attend my school an college functions.We also ha lots of Pithas. Hope Saraswati Ma gives everybody knowledge and wisdom.

Yeah...good things to hear about the day for one's life focusing time for creativity, learning and wisdom. Hopefully, all believers really discern themselves in depth and solemnly delve into the meaning of the day of Sarawatee Pooja Day. This month, actually there are so many good festival days, yesterday for Lunar Year and Jan 26, 2008; was The Chinese New Year - 2009 The Year of Ox. Great culture & beliefs
