The New Guy in Town - who does he belon gto ????!

So they revealed the new guy in town for a new storyline. A young Aussie from down under. He comes to PC and goes straight for Luke Spencers Haunted Star casino. Something Lovitt is his name, says he is from Austrailia, but never heard of Luke Spencer.. just happened onto his ship to rob it and got caught.
Hum... since they usually bring in characters that are related to someone already there but that someone doesnt' know that new person exists, muchless that they are related... my first thought was he is a "non-known" son of Robert Scorpio... which stillcould be and that is why he went to Luke first.. he'd heard about his father and Luke's shanaagins over the years. But since Robert isn't a regular (yet) they might not make them related or maybe so...just cause Robert is his father, doesn't mean Robert has to be in town.... so it could be.....
Although... there are 2 others Aussi's in town... Mac Scorpio and Jax..... now. lets see....Max had a go-round with a girl and Jax had a go-round with that same girl, but they both thought she died in a fire years ago.... hum....Oh, yeah, Miranda was her name and she walked in on Jax and Brenda's wedding or something like that. So this new young man could be Miranda's son - by... Jax or Mac!
I'd say Mac just to give that character some show time... he's pretty good, but just doesn't have the air time, but Jax... hum.. now that he and Carly are going to reunite after this current catastrophy... they need something to trash them again... as we all know... there is no happily ever after in soaps - this could be the secret to drive a wedge again- how will Carly take a "step son" that seems rather unruley?
So, what's the thoughts out there.... who does this new guy belong to? And of course he will wreck havoc with Maxie and Lulu.....

Hey coffeebreak! Was his name Ethan or something like that?
I don't know who he belongs to but I'm sure he has ties to
someone in Port Charles for sure! Jax? I don't know, maybe?
Mac? Why not! He doesn't seem to have any kids of his own!
Time will tell! Can't wait to see! I love it when the writers
finally get something new to play with! It's about time! They
really needed some new blood! Would work well to be Jax's
son! Could also be Jerry's demon spawn! Now that would be
something really awful! Now that's that's why GH has done so
well for so long now! They know how to spin anything! Go GH!

I like the idea of him being Robert's son. I think Robin could use a half-brother too. And Maxie could start to fall for him and then find out he is her cousin and then set Lulu up with him. I am way over Johnny. He is a thug. He is trying not to be, but he can't help it.
Or he could be someone else's and fall for the new Rebecca, thereby causing strife for the reuniting of Nikolas and Emily.
I also like the idea of him being Jax's son. Carly will flirt with him and wreck her marriage yet again.

Thing is they have to make him the son of a character that can have a storyline around it. Robert isn't on the show full time - just hit and miss here and there sowhat good would it do to make him ROberts son. I thought that at first too, but since they are displaying hte guy as such a creep, Robert doesn't deserve that... he already has Robin!!!!!! She needs the other half of her brain! the side that is about others, mainly her daughter and not all about herself!!
Lulu and JOhnny are boring... give the guy the garage and let him be a working stiff and go from there as you know... if he is just that LuLU isn't going to want him anymore!!! Put her with Matt - they'd be a match for each others arrogance!

Both girls parents are Felicia Frisco Jones. Both parents just up an left the girls with Unlce Mac at a few early age so he was the one that raised them 9/10ths of their lives. Frisco left first and then Felicia married Mac, and then she had an affair with Luke so they divorced and she left her girls with mac left town, only to return last year and wonder why maxie wouldn't welcome her with open arms and be best friends

You know I was thinking the same thing,That he was someones long lost kid but my thought was that he was Lukes and thats why he went to him first

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy our GH discussions! My first thought was that he was Roberts unknown son and that is why he went to Luke, but then someone mentioned JErry's kid and that would have bee great - come to avenge the father he never had... but then when he was talking to Luke and things they said -I think he is Luke's son. That's sure blow things up a bit in town! FIguratively speaking on this issue of course... the huge blow up is probalby coming along today or next week!

Well today they had Ethan reveal he had an affair with Holly - he was adopted and his parents were killed when he was 15 and instead of going to foster care, he just ran off one his own...meeting up with Holly Sutton (from Luke's past years ago) and htey had a couple nights stand thing. However, that could be just a rouse... and he is really her son by Luke, and either he hasn't mentioned that or it could be that she played Luke up so much, he had to go check Luke out... I'd rather it be his son (good grief, I can't believe I actually admitted that "want"!) but in this case, being Luke's son would be better than Ethan just finding a mentor in Luke. I already can't stand the guy! But Luke needs a reason to leave the show for the summer like he always does, so this comes at about the time to bring things to a twisted open-ended stupid story so that Luke has reason to run out of town... .ho hum!
