I have always been fond of instrumental music and listen very often to orchestrated music like those of James Last, Henry Mancini, Hugo Montenegro, Billy Vaughn and his orchestra , The Shadows, The Ventures etc. I prefer music which is easy on the ears known as Easy listening, or afternoon music, music that makes you relax. I also like meditation music because it removes stress and gives peace to the soul. I belong to the old school of music,ie music of the 50`s and 60`s. this also includes vocalists like Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Cliff Richards, Pat Boone,Ricky Nelson, Jim Reeves and many others.Tell me about your choice?

I too am influenced by my mood at the time and will listen to both types. I don't have any artist or genre in particular that I enjoy when it comes to Instrumental music, but I do enjoy meditation music as well every now and then. I also enjoy albums where orchestra's do covers of pop and rock classics. Classical music is enjoyable for me occasionally too. I particularly enjoy "The Planets" by Holst. I am not really a heavy music listener, but I have always had a wide range of interest in many styles. The latest albums I downloaded were Metallica, Living Color and the 500 greatest rock songs of all time.

Generally instrumental. Especially classical piano music. But I love vocal too. It just depends.

It all depends on my mood.
Sometimes I like to listen to vocal music and at times (when I'm really feeling down) I like to listen to strictly instrumenal music (such as classical)
