Would you buy a Mobile Home?

If you could buy a Mobile home for a low price and pay cash for it,would you buy it? Lets say you found a mobile home in a park for two thousand dollars and the lot rent was two hundrad dollars a month would you go for it? Our would you rather buy a home and pay a high mortgage for 30 years?

I'd go for it! My mom lives in a mobile home and they are good.I lived there with her for awhile and I lived in another one on the street behind her.If the park is descent I'd go for it.The park she lives in is not so great even thou they like to pretend that they are.The lot rents there are terrible $815 a month! And the lots aren't even big.You have usually a couple of feet going outside your home.Some lots are bigger,I guess it depends on who you know! My step daughter lives in in mobile home park in Alabama and she has a half acre lot and pays $125 a month. I would go for it.Maybe with all the money you save each month you can save for a down payment on a regular house if you find you are not happy in the mobile home. Good luck.

I think that's what we will do. I figure we will save so much on housing expenses we would be able to enjoy other things.

You got that right,especially when your lot rent is so low.My mom's is so high,they don't have anything left to enjoy life.I wish you luck.Let me know how it goes.And thanks for the best response.
