Has anyone had surgery for obesity?  | |  Hello all, I am a 37 female who is on the track to having surgery for my obesity. I will have the Gastric Bypass Surgery in San Antonio Texas and god willing it will help me. My sister had the same surgery and has had outstanding results, she lost 100 lbs in 10 months and is now working out to strengthen her frame and muscles. Has anyone out there had surgery? If so, can you please share your experiences? I tried looking for discussions on this subject but have found non, so I am hoping this will lead to some interesting responses, until then, God bless.

Surgery can be pretty major, so do take time out to look after yourself and don't rush the recovery, do exactly what the doctors say.
