Making a hot topic is not very hard. You just need to think a topic that very interest other myLotter to post their response. Think a topic that much myLotter now the answer or the have already experience with it. Keep post, Don't give up. Just have a nice day in here and make yourself enjoy this site. Soon you will feel very easy to start a discussion that make people like to response it. Happy myLotting...

I've never had a "hot topic" discussion, so I really wouldn't know. But my guess would be to make a unique and different topic that really stands out. It has to be something interesting that people really want to respond to. And I'm sure it would help if you keep the wording short, simple, direct and to the point. If you make a really long discussion, people aren't going to stop and read it all. Most people have short attention spans, and if they're not interested, they'll move right along to the next question and won't bother to answer. I'm sure it also helps to start a discussion on a topic that a lot of people have really strong opinions on... that way more people will respond and really get into your discussion. Also, something more broad and general will get a lot more responses and interest than something very specific. And if you post under an interest that has a lot more members you're more likely to get a lot more responses than if you post in an interest that has a small amount of members. Also, a catchy subject title really does the trick! You want to really grab the attention of anyone who reads the title. If you really want to start a "hot topic" then read up on all of the hot topics posted every day. What do they all have in common? The more you read and study the discussions, the more similarities you'll notice. And the more you know, the easier it will be for you to start a "hot topic" discussion! Good luck!
