I'm wondering if I can book 2 free rooms?

I love to go to Atlantic City and play craps. Love it Love it Love it! And, we've decided to go up for Valentines Day - well, actually, we'll stay the night on Friday the 13th and come home on Valentines Day. I've got a comp for a free room so it's not going to cost anything to stay - we just need our gambling money. A friend of mine wants to go and we don't have a problem sharing our room with them. But, when I called about it last night the hotel told me they can't guarantee that I'll have 2 beds. It's going to be 2 couples, so we really do need 2 beds. I got to thinking though, after I booked my room, it still showed up that I had 2 more promos left on that same time-frame. Sooo... I'm wondering if I can book 2 (free) rooms for the same night? One for us, one for them? Has anyone ever done this before? Will it work? Or do they only let you get one free room a night?

I used to get comped every time I went - even on a Saturday. But since I stopped going for a while I have to build it back up again. I'll get a room for you next time, OK?

Sure, but not while we're playing because I always seem to lose when I try to teach people at the same time. No clue why because it doesn't affect how I'm playing, but the dice are just not friendly when I'm trying to help someone...

reiny since you go and play the tables they should comp you a room. You go all of the time. A lady use to know and her husband don't go as much as you two do but everytime they go they get theit room comped. You may try speaking to someone in PR. Good luck.

I only started going a lot again recently, so I have to build my comps back up. This is the first time in a couple years that I've gotten a Friday night - it's usually been weeknights. Hopefully I'll be back to getting Friday AND Saturday nights so we can go for the whole weekend!

Well, it's free for me too, but I'm expecting a bed :) I like the word free, anything I can get free, I'll usually take... And that includes the bed :)

i have an idea about getting your second room like that at the casino where that you-all are staying. have your hubby call and book a room and see what happens. lol you know? if they book another room like that, then you-all will have it made. lol right? i have booked one free casino room like that before but i have only booked one room per night. good luck to you-all getting two rooms at the same casino, and let us all know around here at Mylot if you get two free rooms or not. thanks.

Since I'm usually the only one that gambles, he never has good comps on his card. He doesn't have a Friday night stay available for him. As soon as my friend lets me know for sure if they're going then I'll call to see about booking a 2nd room. I think I should be able to do it though....

Usually when you get the free room offers, there's that fine print saying that you can't combine them with any other offer. I did however once have a Vegas casino send me a two free room deal so I could invite some friends to come along (shocked the heck out of me!). The first thing I thought was to do as someone already suggested, book one room in your name and see if they'd let you book another in your hubby's.
If that isn't the way you want to go I would try calling and talking to a casino host. Tell him/her you really like coming and have talked it up so much to your friends that you'd like to invite them along to show them what you've been talking about. Say that you have gotten several offers for free rooms during that time and would really love to get a second room comped. Atleast that would be what I'd say. The worst they could say is no.

I did call about the room because I wanted to make sure I had 2 beds in it, but they said they can't guarantee that, we have to see what's available when we check in. I had also heard that I should ask for a casino host, but they said I'm not a big enough gambler yet to qualify for one. And since my husband doesn't gamble much, we only use my card for the comps so he doesn't have enough for a Friday night room. Once my friend decides if they're going or not, I'll call about the room. Otherwise if they decide to go at the last minute we'll hope for the best!
