Would you be happy if immortality were bestowed on you?

Many people hate old age, this is just that they wish to remain young as they are now. they are also aware of the fact that old age means nearing Death. But this should not be the notion. If I were bestowed immortality i would plead God ( If existed at all) to withdraw this concession for I would not like to be immortal. This would be rather a severe punishment for me. So this is a message to them who hate old age. and the important thing is that the body grows old but the mind which occupies no cell nor any place is ever young. Let the body grow old and we remain young as ever been.

If my children were granted immortality too, I think it would be great. Of course since my eldest also has a child, he'd probably say he wouldn't want to be immortal unless his daughter was too.
As a fantasy, living forever seems great. If it were reality you'd witness your friends & family age & die. Which would be beyond awful.

Yes you are right. This mortal life is ok with all its pain and pleasure. If at all immortality were bestowed on me only I would have to pray God that this is withdrawn for none of your contemporary would be around and life would become like hell.
