I have a large collection of vintage Christmas collectibles. I have old German glass figurals,Glass balls, felts and other neat collectibles. They really do make the tree look nice each Christmas. I keep building up my collection each year. Do you enjoy Christmas ornaments as a collection?

Well now they do sell small storage boxes for ornaments. I have been thinking of getting them to help protect them.

i like christmas ornaments and have one very old german santa. i tend to like vintage and antqiues and what i have collected over the past years are country looking christmas ornaments. i have been married for 21 years and have bought myself a new one every year (as well as have bought both our daughters one every year so when they get older, they will have enough for a tree!)

We don't decorate around here, because there is no room to decorate, and because our cat would destroy our decorations if we put them wup. While we don't decorate, we do like giving decorations as gifts. Everytime there is a new baby born, or someone gets married, I like to give them something personalized for the Christmas tree, to remind them of their first Christmas.

My husband and I just got married and don't have our own place yet. His mom has had the tradition of getting new ornaments every year to put on the tree. I think she's done that every since she was born, I believe. In any case, that is a nice tradition. My grandmother doesn't decorate anymore, so when we have our own place we hope to get her ornaments etc, and of course we'll bring the ones that his mom has gotten for him over the years, and the ornaments we've gotten the last two christmases.
I'm really excited about starting new traditions, and I thought about making ornaments, or buying them myself. When my husband and I have children I'm sure I'll make ornaments with them, or when they're first born make one for the child with my husband, and also buy one with their name on it.
