Of course,we are going to celebrate later, when I'm off work. Any simple ideas that mylot community has in mind? I'm planning to surprise her on my lunch break by showing up for home early with her gifts, cupcakes and some ice cream. They haven't had these sort of treats in over a month, as they participated in the same fast that we did.
She is so looking forward to getting her own public bus transit card, lol. As she is considered a non free passenger at that age.
Do you think she will enjoy it? Is there more that should be done?

I think you have everything wonderfully planned. And it is so cool that you are doing all of this. My dad didn't get involved in that kind of stuff when I was a kid. I wasn't deprived of course, but it would have been cool if my dad had done the things you are planning! : )

It's important to me, because I didn't have a father in my life as a child.

They loved it of course. Neapolitan and a chocolate Oreo cookie cake. Their favorite baby sitters came over and spent some time with her and her other siblings. It was great!

Leave it winterose to be the first to respond. I didn't think I was gonna get any responses to this one, as it sat in the queue for a few hours without any responses.

Soundls like a great day planned for the little one.. Tell her that I said Happy Birthday and I hope she enjoys it.. I rode the public transit bus for years, tell her to take a book along because after you have rode it for awhile, the scenery is always the same.. Happy B-day to her..

That is a lovely idea! when my son turned 5 last year, we surprised him with balloons on the bedroom and his favorite cake.. but this kind of surprise is a little late for you I guess. Your idea is just fine and I am sure your kid will like it.
