Etta James & Beyonce'  

Hey chevee! I think that was just an awful thing for her to
say! And I believe the only reason that she was saying it was
because she was angry and jealous that she wasn't invited
to the Inaugural Ball to sing it herself! She is already a
legend and now she is going to phuck it all up by being an
old mean beotch about Beyonce singing to the President! And
she's even calling the President names too! WTF is wrong with
her? Not a very smart thing to do! Now she's never going to
get invited to the Whitehouse!

Well you gotta give Etta creidt SOMEWHAT , because for one , yeah shes speaking her mind , NOT EVERY ONE IN THE WORLD ADORES BEY , i mean to be honest she needs to sit back in the studio and layback for a while , and Brush up on her acting roles . now i know anyone can AT LEAST agree to that...Cadalac Records (??????) that flim came and went basically lol and i kno and so do consumers kno that the movie studio was banking on Beyonce's status to bring in BIG numbers like DreamGirls ...BUT NOPE!!! and PLUS Beyonce wudnt be here if Janet Jackson was on her job like she was back in the 90's lmao , ..Hoooowwwever , Etta James , the song shes know for she didnt even write it , or was the first to sing it , it was some guy back in the 40s that did it ...but im giving her props for speaking her mind tho , cant deny that , but yeah i wouldnt be surprised if there was a lil fight or some serious words being thrown...

i don't know what etta's big deal is. beyonce just played her in a movie. as far as i know anybody can sing any song they like. she's just jealous of beyonce's age i'd say.she should be honored that her song was sung at such a special occasion.

I don't know, I kinda think Ms James is a bit of a spitfire! LOL!

Well, first I think that if they wanted that song done at the Ball then they should have had Etta James do it since she's been doing it for so long. Also if they got Beyonce to perform then she should have stuck with her own work and not done someone elses.

At the same time, it makes me wonder if James isn't angry that she wasn't asked to perform at the Ball.
