Jessica Simpson's Weight?  

While the critics are being too harsh (her weight is her own business), Jessica is being too easy on herself. She is clearly overweight and her health will suffer. I hope that she sees the light and does something about it. She doesn't need to be that toothpick she was when she started out, but she needs to get in better shape for her own health.

I spent a number of years in denial about my size. Then news flash - I'm not big-boned! I can't tell you how many people I know that think this and use it as an excuse for being overweight. When I came to that realization, I worked hard to lose the excess 50 pounds, but too late. My knees have suffered damage from the abuse of the extra weight in my active life. I plan to keep the extra weight off forever, but it is not easy and requires constant vigilance.

She is not even remotely overweight. I am not a fan of her's, I actually find her rather annoying, but she is not fat by any stretch. She isn't a toothpick, she is short and stout naturally, but that doesn't equal obese. The only thing that spurred this whole 'OMG she's SOOO fat' BS was a really bad wardrobe choice. She wore terribly unflattering high waisted jeans (which IMO aren't flattering on ANYONE) and a really unfortunate belt. She was definitely packed on a few pounds since 'Duke's of Hazard' but fat she is not.

I didn't know she was overweight. I guess that's what those media types do-Random celebrity gets fat and they stick to that story like a fly on s**t. Ah, the joys of being famous......

i think they are being way to harsh on her! if she wasnt famous no one would notice her weight let alone write about it. so why bother her? i dont think she is all that big anyway, people are just used to seeing her when she is tiny. so what she gained a bit of weight? everyone gains weight and loses weight, so why does it matter?

Whether harsh or not, the answer belongs to the intended person. Anyway, that's their job anyway, to give critics. Sometimes they are being paid to do just that. For Jessica Simpson's, either she just try to learn take it easy and turn the critics into the task of improving herself or ignored it completely. Life's too short...better live life to the fullest..and be happy....there is no way we can satisfy everyone...:)

it is part of the media. they have nothing better to do and say. if someone gains weight, they are fat, and if someone loses weight, they are anorexic.
so it is best to be happy of ur weight, no matter what size u r, and live ur life.

Most definitely! She is a beautiful girl either way. Besides I think the way the stars try to be too thin is less attractive. Now she looks more approchable as a person. I didn't hear her boyfriend complaining.

Hello, the business of her weight is her own business so yes they are being too critical of her weight.

I really don't care how much she weighs. If she is overweight, oh well I guess she'll have to worry about her health, but it's not of much concern to me. Many people around the world, especially in the United States, weigh more than they should or more than they want to. I do not care about every little step celebrities take or all the new gossip; I have my OWN life and don't need to worry about someone who has been in a movie or sold records -- who really cares?

yes the media is creating a big buzz out of this simple thing.
