Do you buy items based on where they are made or do you ignore this totally ? Do you often go for itemes made in say the USA and Germany as opposed to some of the cheaper imports. With the cheaper imports that are usually mass produced, you can get more of the items but they are usually not as durable. There are some perosns who buy items in support of your native country ,are you like that. Here on the island we have a large asian population and I have found that they still manage to buy items made in their native land.

Hi ronnyb! I do buy items that are made by my own country in support of our economy but there are times that some products are being produced by other countries. I will surely buy them too as long as they have the seal that it pass product standard test. The quality of the product is my first consideration amongst other things. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

I must admit that I dont usually look at made in tags but I think I will start as there are some countries that have a pretty good standard of producing high quality products.I think it is a good idea to buy products made in your country in an efefort to stimulate business in your home country.

yes. I'd prefer to buy things made in the US. Unfortunately, that can take more time than is possible. My hubby tried to find tools made in the US. We went to 5 stores, could NOT find a single tool made in America. That was awful. He was furious. Sometimes, you can spend all day looking for something made in the US. It isn't always worth the trouble.

Yes things made in the USA are usually more expensive but are of higher quality and hence mored durable than the cheaper imports from say china. This is because many products are mass produced there and quality usually suffers. Not saying all products from China are mass produced but the ones that are are usually not durable

I'm with you. I also don't buy anything from china that I'm going to eat or drink out of, toys for the grandkids etc. It's nothing against the majority of the people of china, most of them are victims too of greedy entrepreneurs but their products right now just don't inspire any level of trust that they aren't actually dangerous.

I don't look to see where my clothes and other products are made before I buy. I may find out later. And when I do find out where it was made, I literally say thank you and I hope that me buying this shirt helps. I have clothes made from eveerywhwere, mostly china.

Hi ronnyb. Yes I do especially if I buy branded clothes or things. As for the shoes like NIKE or stuffs like that, I buy those that are made in China. As for the mobile phones I prefer to buy those that are made in USA or Finland as for the Nokia.
