Does it annoy you when there's nothing wrong, but people keep asking you what's wrong? I was at work and everyone kept asking me what was wrong and I kept telling them nothing and that I was okay. One lady was like "Are you okay? You're awfully quiet today?" And by that point I had gotten outstandingly annoyed and I snapped and said "What are you talking about?! I'm always quiet!!!" So she went and told this lady who's known my mom for years and I had to go in her office and everyone was there and it felt like an intervention. No matter how many times I told them I was alright they just kept asking me. Feel free to share you thoughts and experiences.

Your story tells that there is really something wrong. Actually, it might be that nothing is wrong but your work mates noticed a change in your behavior or in your aura that they can't help but ask. I think they are just concerned. Sometimes it is annoying but it is much better to look at the brighter side of it. You said you are always quiet, maybe that is just your perception. Your work mates may have been noticing the roudier part of you. So when you decide to tone down a little, your silence became much noticeable. For me, when they ask me that question, I ask in return why they thought so. In such way, I can evaluate if I unconsciously acting differently.
