The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Are you talking about movie "Wall E"? You are right, I think the director of this film is great, he or she left us a huge space to think with few line. It's a movie like a poem. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is probably one of the best movies i've ever seen. The script is brilliant, it combines moments of intense drama and romance so good that it touches you like few movies do these days. Also the make-up and the computer rearrangement are great. Brad Pitt, the old one from the movie, partially starts to look exactly like he would be when he is gonna be old.

He was aware that his life can't continue in that way and he had enough courage to leave his family for everyone's sake.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was almost 3 hours long, which was great, because I prefer long movies over shorter movies because then I get more entertainment for my $$. I liked the little pieces of funny parts in the movie, like when the old man would bring up that he had been struck by lightning 7 times & then it would show a little clip of it happening. That never got old. The ending was the only downfall for me. I expected it to end some other way than what it did. But overall, the movie was excellent. Plus the fact that Brad Pitt was in it helps too!

Before seeing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button I wondered how I would react to the story of a man who is born old and gets younger as he grows up. Of all of the stories I have come across, this is by far the most bizarre and intriguing. If i had to pick someone to bring this story to the screen I do no think David Fincher would have been my first choice.

How wrong I would have been. This film is by far one of the best if not the best of 2008. Fincher's direction is flawless! The film from start to finish does not let up. There are moments of joy and ecstasy followed by sorrow and understanding. Brad Pitt stars as Benjamin, a boy born an old man who must live his life in reverse. His friend from childhood, Daisy, is played by Cate Blanchett. The story is narrated from Benjamin's point of view with some particular highlights from Daisy.

The cast does nothing wrong. Pitt leads with Blanchett and a strong performance from Taraji P. Henson as Benjamin's surrogate mother Queenie, the only person in the world who seems to understand and truly love him from the start. Other cameos along the way bring a large array of characters, including Tilda Swinton, one of Benjamin's early love interests.

The film spans from the end of World War I to the the arrival of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. The transitions from life stage to life stage and decade to decade are seamless. Fincher does a tremendous job at maintaining a steady flow of action and dialogue. There is not a dull moment in the film. The cinematography is superb and couples nicely with Fincher's style of accentuating certain colors to enhance a mood or moment.

There really is nothing wrong with this film. Even with a runtime of about 160 minutes, time just flies by, much like it does for Benjamin, only we are going forward. This is a tender and meaningful film you do not want to wish.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button...a great film.It's got a nice storyline,nice script,great acting by Brad Pitt.
But it gets a bit boring at times.There are some confusing times in the movie.
Also,the value of TIME that you have explained is very true.

Very interesting and heart warming if I can say bout this particular movies. my wife cried during watching this movies. I can't image if in the real life people got same disease as benjamin had.
But After googling about this movies, I found out that the movies script are fare away different on the book, that released at 1920s.
after I red the original script, I guess the movies version are better.

Not to mention this movie was like 5 months already in my computer but i only watched it last week becuase my wife insisted me too. It was long yes but it was indeed a great movie and so different from other movies. the story is so touchy too. My wife even cried at the last part of the movie when DAISY took care of BENJAMIN and he died in her arms. 10 out of 10 rating i rate that movie 10 coz for me that is a super great movie for everybody. taking care of you love ones no matter what.
