Does Starbucks Drive-through really save time?

I would say a big no to this! I do use the drive through at Starbucks for convenience, but it usually take longer to get through than if I went in and ordered. I use it when I have my kids in the car because I don't want to get them out! I also like going in because you can watch them make the coffe and make sure they get it right, even though that is usually not a problem at Starbucks! I need a latte now!

A latte sounds good right about now. It is after midnight though, so I probably don't need the caffeine. I don't go to Starbucks a lot, although around here they seem to be popping up more, not closing down like so many other Starbucks in other places. I think I'd rather go through the drive thru. I just turn off the car to not waste gas. After all, it does take a while.

They are puting them up and taking them down in the same breath it seems, as with a lot of businesses today. It's very sad. Starbucks just really got to my area and the stores are really popular, so I hope mine wont be closed, but I don't hold my breath in this economy, as it is an expensive but delicious place to get coffee! Thanks for the response, though!

I know what you mean I feel this goes for a lot of drivethrus I think if you go inside you get better food and I think it is quicker. Unless it is like during a rush or something than I feel it does not matter. I make my coffee at home to save money though, I am not into Starbucks a whole lot, however I do like their 7 layer brownie that some of the Starbucks have. It costs like 3 bucks but I think it is worth the price. I would like to learn how they make them I think they are the best brownie I have ever had! happy mylotting and have a good day!

forgot about the food, too. It is better to go in. I know it is pricey, but I only go 2-3 times a week and I deserve it! Their brownies are super, as are a lot of their treats!

I say no way. I swear sometimes I sit in line at Starbucks in the drive through for quite sometime. It is usually very irritating cause I'm afraid it will make me late to work, and I hate being late to work. But then I sit back and think, they are taking their time to make sure mine and everyone else's coffee is right. I realise it's the customer service that I love about Starbucks. They are always so nice and friendly.
