last week before the super bowl win-dixie here had a sale on rib eye steaks for 3.99 a pound down from 11.99 but only if you had one of their shopping cards. i didn't need any steaks at the time but went back the following tuesday nite and they were out of rib eye's so when i asked the butcher if he had any in the back he said no but to go to customer service and get a rain check, how wonderful i never heard of that before, the rain check is good for 30 day's and today i picked up 12.99 rib eye;s for 3.99 per pound, so to those like me that don't know about them,"guy's" pay attention now ,ask, all they can say is no, ladies does this rain check thing happen at all supermarkets ? thanks for your time.

a lot of the chain stores do those now but you have to ask for them.. a lot of places dont offer them out right but if you ask if its possible they will cave in and write you one

This 'rain check' thing is something I know of most stores doing. At least in my travels.

hello max
yes rainchecks from the grocery stores like that are very nice to have and to know about. i have used rainchecks many different times before on several different occasions. a customer needs to know all about a grocery store if they are going to purchase food items from that certain store. i also love to use coupons in purchasing groceries. but if i am not mistaken, your raincheck might expire, so watch the dates on them, if they do have an expiration date on the rain checks and do not let them expire or you will not get to use the rain check when you go back to the grocery store. and that would be ashame to let a rain check go to waste like that.
take care and have a beautiful evening.
