Hi everyone, how many of you are in 'big sister' category? lm called 'big sister' because lm the eldest among my siblings. There are many advantages and disadvantages being a big sister. As for me, lm happy being a big sister to my siblings. But occasional, l do feel dissapointed, especially when they disagrees with my decision. How's everyone's opinion?

I am big sister to two little sisters and we are all very close. I have always been used to being the right one even when I'm not and have always called the shots with them. Lately I realized they are growing older-and smarter and don't always agree with me or form their own opinions about things which really takes me by surprise. I am glad to see them growing up but it's weird and I feel a bit belittled when they correct me and they know they are right and I'm not.

Hello myfb2009. I am the big sister to three of my siblings. I am also the younger of two siblings. I have to say that I love being the big sister more. They seem to come to me for advice and support. They seem to respect my answers and advice. Have a great day.

I had missed out this discussion..lm happy to hear that you are enjoying being a big sister. As for me, sometimes lm too strict and didn't allow them to makes their own decision. This kind of situation had make them felt sad. But, they still respect me and now l had learnt to respect their decision as well. Well, now all of them had grown-up already.
