|  Jerry Springer will no longer be hosting America's Got Talent. He has other commitments that conflict with the show. It's a shame because I thought he was really good as the host. He really showed a different side that we hardly see because when you think of Jerry Springer, you think of his talk show.
NBC has announced that the new host is Nick Cannon. I don't know much about him other than he's Mr. Mariah Carey and I've only see bits of him on other shows. He hasn't really impressed me and I'm just not sure if he would fit in on this show. It should be interesting to see how he does.

| | I thought he was too. At first I was surprised when he took over but after watching him on Dancing With The Stars and now America's Got Talent, he was really right for the job. It's going to be a big change this year. | | | |

| | I know Nick Cannon has been on MTV before. It just seems he would be a bit more...I don't know. Before he may have been a host for younger people but this is a bigger step. America's Got Talent appeals to all ages, so it should be interesting to see how well he does.
I'm surprised at some of the people they let through. It can be a really crazy show but when it comes down to it, I think America usually does right and votes for the talent. | | | |
