Hi eggpoy, i change the setting of my computer into QuickBoot but it still show me that message. Perhaps, my motherboard wrong to check my battery voltage. 3V or 4V i need to replaced with true condition. I buy a battery with 3V, but i think my motherboard check it with 4V what must i do then? I need to buy a new motherboard. I must think it twice, between buy a new motherboard or fix my motherboard. Thank you for the information.

You may have to buy a new motherboard if its not the battery causing the problem. There could be a problem with the BIOS from what I'm searching or it could be a hardware installation issue. This is what I'm looking at in relation to your problem. http://forums.cnet.com/5208-4_102-0.html?threadID=42791 http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-me/press-f2-to-continue-on-boot-up/47457.html

might not be the battery. but it could be also if it is the battery you will definatly have to correct date, and time of your system. if it is a battery why do you need to replace the motherboard, you can replace the battery. How old is your system. maybe one of the components is bad

I don't have correct date, it always return to March 13, 2003 like my current BIOS (Last update is March 13, 2003). I use it for 6 years; 4 years before damaging and 2 years after damaging. What components do you mean? It too small and i cannot replace it with good components. Because, that components is too expensive better buy a new motherboard if too much components in my motherboard have been damaging.

If you had already changed the battery. Then it might have something to do with board. It is probably damage or something is loose that is why there is no contact. It would be best to change the motherboard.
