I was actually looking around for a good deal on it when I came across abiword, a word processing software like word, only it's free. And it does look almost like microsoft's version. Good enough for people like me who are unemployed.

| |  Another thing that might help is if you need a certain application or type of document program and don't have it on your computer, you can go to Google Docs and open a free account and do all of your word processing on their site. You can store all of your documents in your online account as well. I have found it very handy in the past.
