Some couples are now using a wedding gift registry but for some traditional individual they don't like their idea because they want to choose their own gift for the couple as a surprise, but some couples insist for gifts on their list. I myself want to choose my own gift for them to have some personal touch.
How about you, how will you choose your wedding gift?do you want to select from their wedding wish list or choose your own to be more special?

Hi,
I believe that a Wedding Gift is backed by Good wishes & Blessings.More than a Surprise(?),it's selection should gel with the personality & requirement of the newly married couples.I always keep this on the top of my mind in selecting a wedding gift.

I think that by getting them things they want and having an online list does help, but yes it takes away that personal touch. You should do what you feel is right, therefore if you know of something that would mean a lot to them, then I would go with the personal gift

I love the idea that couples can now put their honeymoon trip up online so people can buy chunks of it ... It's not as impersonal as giving cash or a check, but it's not something from the registry either. Normally, I choose a small gift that reminds me of the couple and buy a part of the honeymoon trip :)
