Have you ever had a terrible sinus infection?

Yes, I have had one. They are horrible. The pain can be unreal. You can't breathe, you ache, you can't get comfortable. I sure hope you feel better soon.

At one time, yes. But obviously, I have been cured of it.

I so totally know what you're going through. I have a sinus infection right now as well...it's driving me crazy! My eyes hurt because of all the pressure in my sinuses. My throat was sore yesterday, but it's feeling better today. I took some NyQuil. I love that stuff...not the taste though! LOL But it works so well. Hopefully something will work for you soon. I've only had one that was diagnosed (might have had more in the past but didn't know it). It was when my father in law was in the hospital. I thought I had an ear infection because my ears hurt so bad I wanted to die. I was so miserable and I was alone every other day with my kids while my husband drove 75 miles to be at the hospital with his family. I had no car and was stuck at my in-laws' house alone. Finally, one day when me and the kids were at the hospital too, my husband made me go to the ER to get checked and the doctor said it wasn't an ear infection but a sinus infection. I couldn't believe how much my ears hurt. They kept hurting for a week even with the antibiotics. I get bad sinus headaches all the time, though.

I never had a sinus problem until i was pregnant. I thankfully only had one of them!!

Yes in fact it was so bad I ended up having to get surgery and was out of school for like half the year because the headaches were unbarable. all of my sinuses were badly infected and it seemed with every course of antibiotics it just got worse and worse.

Are you kidding me? I get a least one a year. I have the worst sinuses. Everytime I get one I lose my appetite. Once those antibitics kick in you will be fine. Try a hot steamy bath. That will help with some of the symptoms. Hope you feel better.

Oh wow I hope you get to feeling better. I used to get sinus infections all of the time. We finally figured out it was caused by a tumor in my sinus cavities. They took it out over 5 years agao and I still have some problems.

yes i hate sinus infections they are the worse..especially sinus pressure...i feel for you and hope you feel better soon..i get them often myself too

Yes - just last week. They are terrible and it seems as though whenever the wind blows my sinuses go crazy. We still have a lot of flowers blooming here and with all the rain, sinus season just keeps going and going. I take Advil Cold and Sinus and feel it is the best product for me. Unfortunately you have to buy it behind the counter now.

One of the most helpful things I have found to be more comfortable during a sinus infection: rotate between hot and cold compresses overtop your sinus cavaties...it will break a lot of the congestion up and help move it out of there so you get some relief.

My sister got that! I really hate that condition that will induce worse breathing.
