Most people don't give importance to friends of the same gender. Whenever one gets a boyfriend or girlfriend they tend to keep going away from their friends. Also many people forget their school or college friends once they are out of school/college. So how important is friendship for you?

I have spent fifteen years of my life in a residential school and friends were all I had there as my own people. While some of them have moved far away after leaving school most of them are in contact with me. My three best friends from kindergarten school meet up for lunch or dinner in each others house whenever we all are present in the city. Friendship is very important to me but some friends just get lost on the way..I do miss them a lot..

I didn't regard my friendship with my friends as important too, ever since I met this girl. Sometimes, I rather hang out with her than my friends. Even though I don't have much to talk about with her. Am I a traitor? I guess your answer will be " Yes". Here, I confess it all. For most guys, they were blinded by the fact that they have amazing friends come along with them. They should treasure it as a precious gift. I let it pass somehow. Sometimes, I was really regret on my decision. Don't make the same mistake again.

Based on this equation I would say my value on friendship is quite high. I always see my buddy from highschool over the holidays and whenever we're in eachothers town. I know his girlfriend real well, as did he know mine while I had her. I still live with my buddy from college so those ties have not been broken either.
