Have you been to the Carribbean?

Hey mylotters! Have any of you been to the Carribbean? If so, where? And if not, where would you like to go in the Carribbean?
Today I reserved a beach house in the Bahamas for a week, I am so excited! It has two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room, and three bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen, 2 singles, and a futon). It is also directly next to one of Nassau's best snorkeling beaches, Love Beach. I am very excited. I am going to have seven others come with me to cut down the cost, so it will be cheaper than a hotel overall, and more like home. The plane ticket from Pennsylvania is only $306, and the cost of the beach house will be about $230 per person, so that is a GREAT deal! We are going to stay there from December 30, 2009- January 6, 2010, so it will be over the new years. The new years celebration is spectacular in the Bahamas with the Junkanoo parade. It will be my second new years out of the country hehe. I will attach a picture of our beach

I have been to the beautiful island of St Lucia in the Caribbean Sea. I loved the palm fringed beaches, the rain forest and the stunning looking Piton Mountains. I found the local people very friendly and the atmosphere totally relaxing. It was a ten hour flight to get there. I stayed in a ground floor apartment with a view of a swimming pool. The weather was hot and humid. It was a fantastic vacation that my mum and I really enjoyed.
You have got some cheap flights and your beach house is great value. I think that it is wonderful that it is near a gorgeous palm fringed beach that is superb for snorkeling the colorful reef. With seven other people you should have an enjoyable time with a big celebration on New Year's Eve. Have an excellent vacation in the Bahamas.
