| Dell Inspirons using Ubuntu Linux  | | | |  I have seen these laptops on Dell's site, and I was wondering if anyone would consider buying one. I used Ubuntu once, it's very quick and easy to use. I went back to Windows XP later on. What do you think about it? Would you use the Inspiron with the Ubuntu Linux on it?

| |  I have tried Ubuntu about a year ago. Like you, I reverted back to Microsoft about almost 2 months of using Ubuntu. I Loved to download movies and stuff that time so I found Ubuntu frustrating as I have to program some things first before I was able to watch and download some movies. Also, I could not play some of the PC games I bought.
I think Ubuntu is great. It's just not as user friendly as Microsoft is but I think the software is great. If I knew my way around software programming, I'd rather choose Ubuntu.
