How to set the date on the photograph?

I am a new user of Sony DSC H-10 camera. I could learn some features of the camera through trial and error. But i have failed to set the date on the photographs. It necessary to mention here that on the camera monitor the date appears. But when dowloaded to the computer it does not show up.

Can anybody help me in this respect?

I don't have that particular model, but I do have a Sony DSC T-70. I don't know how different the menus are, but on my camera to change the date you go to Home>Settings>Clock Settings. I imagine it would be similar on your camera.
