I have been selling t-shirts on ebay for about six months. It is doing pretty good. I sold a t-shirt for tweleve dollars. I was really excited about that. I'm trying to get a certain amount of money into my pay pal account if I could sell some more shirts at that price I will be doing great.

The most expensive item I have sold is a car on eBay for approx £5000. I sold this on behalf of my dad so technically I didn't earn this, but he did give me £100 as a thank you.

Wow, I never really thought about selling something as big as car on ebay. That was nice of your father.

Yeah, it was nice of him and I gained a lot of experience selling the car. :)

I haven't ever tried selling on Ebay. I was thinking about it and then I read about all these random charges they started implemented and I quickly changed my mind! G'luck to you though with that,

You should try it. The fees are not that bad.

Recently, the items that my hubby sells have not been doing very well. He starts them off at a percentage of what they are worth, rather than a low 99 cents, because he feels he'll get burned when there's only one bidder. A year ago, he would probably have sold these same items for about 50% more than he's getting now. To answer your question, he put an item on eBay several years ago. A Mickey Mantle game used uniform baseball card....there were only 25 or 50 of them released (he doesn't recall the exact amount) and it was the first one to be listed on eBay. It sold for $535! Like most sports memorabilia, prices fluctuate wildly and if you could find someone selling the same card today, my hubby said you could probably buy it for between $100-$150...maybe even less. It all depends on how many people are looking for what you have to sell and if they are looking while your item is listed. He's listed items that received zero bids, then relisted at the very same price and then received 10 bids... go figure! Good luck selling your Tees!

That was a great sale for a baseball card.
