|  If I don't live in the states, is there a way to get a few samples from Mary Kay or Avon to try out their products? I heard their products are so nice but I still haven't got the chance to try them out!

| |  yes, i've been using Avon for over 8 years, during these eight years i tried at least 50 of its products, at least, no exageration at all. quality is good, price is better. I'm loyal to this brnad. mary kay, is a bit expensive in china than Avon, and variety is less.never tried. I'm searching for its free samples too. hope we can get the answer soon. good luck.

i use Avon Anew Wrinkle Cream, and i enjoy using other products of Avon as well, like their lip gloss, and Avon has alot of different products for sell other than make-up items. from shoes to purses to bug guard. i haven't used any Mary Kay products in years. and i have no idea whether or not that Mary Kay offers different products for sell like Avon does. and haved you tried to visit either Avon's website or Mary Kay's website for the information that you are looking for? both of those two company's ought to have a website. send them both an e-mail explaing your situation and hopefully you will recieve a reply back from them both.

| | I know this post is old, but either way...I am an Independent Avon Representative in New Jersey. I give out FREE samples all the time! And if I know or feel a person is really interested in a specific product I may even give her a full size demo to try for a week or 2 (at no charge) to see if she likes it. If she likes it then I'll sell it to her (full price if she's a regular customer/discounted for new customers). If she doesn't like the product she can return it to me with no hassle. The great thing about Avon also is that if after you've purchased a product and discover it isn't what you wanted or don't like it for whatever reason, you can return if for your $ back or exchange it for a different product.
I've tried Mary Kay samples in the past, but have never purchased from them. (I personally think they're a little expensive) I do know that they specifically sell cosmetics, fragrance and skin care/bath&body products. Whereas Avon sells a little bit of EVERYTHING. In the past Avon was like Mary Kay with just makeup, etc. But now, in addition to makeup, etc, they sell clothing, shoes, bras, some housewares, jewelry and gift items. (AT HIGHLY AFFORDABLE PRICES TOO).
Another bonus is that Avon ALWAYS has great sales and specials going on. For instance, right now you can purchase the Avon Rare Pearls Frangrance collection (which includes Eau de Parfum-$23.00, Body Lotion-$10 & Roll-on Anti-perspirant-$.99) for just $14.99. That's a $19 savings!!
Also new to Avon in recent years, you can order online from ANYWHERE IN THE USA OR INTERNATIONALLY and have your items delivered directly to your door!! So whether you live right here in Jersey or you reside in Canada you can order from me or any other representative (so long as they are an e-representative as well) and get the same great bargains.

I don't know how you can get a sample of Mary Kay or Avon product there. My sister is a dealer for Avon product so whenever I need a sample, I just ask from her. Some of the products are good and I still use them. As for Mary Kay, I did try once but I don't really like the product.
