He used to be a little fish in a big pond. It nearly drowned him.
Now he's a big fish in a little pond, but oh what a pond it is!
He slides and glides among us, blowing bubbles of wit and pure joy.
To see him is to cause your eyebrows to raise in question, shock, or just plain fun.
He's a very articulate fish........yes, the best fish can talk!
His stories, his anecdotes, his scenarios, inform, entertain and bemuse us into thinking, HA! he got me with that one!
They say that eating fish is brain food.
Now I know why.
WE do not cast the bait for this fish. He casts the bait for us, and we bite and get reeled in. We giggle back, we poke and joke and wish we could keep him all to ourselves in a bowl by our beds.........
After all, if fish is brain food, then they must be pretty smart themselves!
I know our own mylot fish is.
You just gotta love Pike!
Do you love Pike? Or do you prefer Cod?

I'm a fan of most seafoods actually, but Pike does seem to stimulate me more mentally, compared to many other types of fish. I'm not sure if it's an over-abundance of Omega 3 oils or what...... Whatever it is, Pike keeps me on my toes at times, occassionally confuses me, sends me off in multiple directions unwittingly; and ultimately causes me to question my own sanity once in a while as well! I couldn't ask for more from a fish really. So many cooking styles available too!
I wouldn't keep a pike in a bowl beside my bed though..... I'd be too worried about being touched up in my sleep!
lol.

Some fish are just more superior than others at navigating the currents of the lot.
And I'm relieved to know that you wouldn't keep him in a bowl beside you're bed.
I have a waterbed so I can keep him IN the bed instead of beside the bed...........wiggle, wiggle! LOL

I'm not familiar with Cod, but I've grown to LOVE Pike! Intelligent, witty and often funny in a self-deprecating way, I know if I'm feeling irregular it's because I haven't had my daily dose of Pike! Sparks, you'll have to introduce me to Cod though.... :)

Well I'll take you at your word about cod being...mmmmmm...common. I am rather unique--most scorpions are known for their sting, not for being babes! And I am both, which makes me truly unique! ;)

Well, Cod is definitely more common! There's only one Pike (or P1ke). I agree, he's one of the most well-spoken individuals I've ever come across! Witty, articulate, entertaining and certainly intelligent!
I love to go fishing. It's one of my favorite things to do. But, I know I'll never catch THAT P1ke! Whatta fish!
Of course, if you're speaking of EATING fish, I think I'd prefer Cod. I'm sure he would, too... okay, maybe it's "The Boss" who would prefer I eat Cod.

Well, I wasn't a fish fan at all..until I met our dear P1ke now I have come to love it. You are right he brings alot of joy to our lives and makes us smile when were down and picks us up and dust us off when we hit rock bottom. He is the best of the best.He has enriched every life he has touched. And I for one am glad he touched mine..You can keep the cod..I'll stick with the P1ke.

Pike are normally a ferocious kind of fish. I wouldn't want to meddle with them, but this particular fish is a joy to talk with. He is, indeed, a very knowledgeable and witty fish, and sensitive with it... a very likeable chap, with not a bad bone in his scaly body! lol.
He is the King of all Fish!!! I love to spend time listening to his stories, anecdotes, etc, etc. Moreover, it's fun to watch his bubbles of wit burst, and fill us with joyous laughter. An articulate fish indeed. I love Pike the best of all fish, yes!
Brightest Blessings, my dear friend.

No... not exactly handled him... how would you "handle" somebody like that? ha ha ha. I just imagined all fish had scaley bodies, my friend. Is that not so? Once a scaley fish, always a scaley fish and all that!
Oooops, yes, I see him, slipping off for a cup of tea and a custard tart! ha ha ha

Pike is a slick fish to be sure. I enjoy reading his discussions, they are well thought out and very intelligent. He kind of reminds me of Don Knotts, character, "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" Now Pike before you take offense, let me say, I love Mt. Limpet. I am so glad we have Pike here to sound the warning and give the news. You contribute so much beauty to out reef. Blessings Marilyn

Salmon to broil, Pike to keep, and Cat to fry. Oh... wait on the cat one... that'd be MYKL and his apparent love for "kitty".
Of course I love P1ke... he's my most favourite fish friend of all! He's one of the first friend requests I made when I rejoined the lot just over a year ago.

Oh, my dear! Pike is by far among the most excellent of fish. Especially when battered and fried!!! Yum!!
He is quite the fish, isn't he? When adorned in a simple cocktail dress or when going Madonna in conical bra, no one can compare!

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but how can a fish drown? Any one who is a fisherman knows how smart fish are. You don't think they grow that big in a short time so you. They have to know which rocks hide them when the light is just so. and that worms caught on metal are not good to eat. We like salmon around here and in a pinch will support at trout.

To know P1key is to love him definitely he is so witty, charming and oh so wiggly! He certainly does have a way of reeling you in and hooking you...best part about that slippery p1kefish is, he really makes you think...when he's not making you doubt your sanity!
Maybe P1key should have his very own fan club since it's impossible for anyone except "The Boss" to catch that particular P1kefish...he must be a real handful! ;)

In fact in thinking about it I just did create a category dedicated to him! I put it under people I admire and uploaded a photo taken in The Netherlands of a man holding a huge pikefish! ;)

Really, Join the p1kefish club!! And also join the club of people that had their accounts canceled...happened to me also a couple of weeks ago, hence I don't have many posts behind my name any more! So we are no longer connected as "friends" should I do you again or are you going to do me this time? (sounds so kinky doesn't it)??? :D :D ;)
