Thoughts on Soul Wars?  |

 What are your opinions about Soul Wars? I have not played it personally, but I hear it is good and bad both? Pros? Cons? Suggestions you would make to make it better perhaps?

| uath13 (3745) | 9 months ago | Basically your divided into 2 teams.
Each team has a huge avitar creature.
There are pyrefiends & jellies around the obelisk. You kill them & take their soul gems ( or other players & take the ones they've collected ).
When your team captures the obelisk ( has lots more players surrounding it than the other team ) you can start using your gems on the obelisk.
As you use gems on the obelisk it lowers the slayer level required to attack the enemy avitar.
Killing the enemy avitar earns your team 1 point.
The team with the most points at the end ot the 20 minute game earns 3 ( I forget what they're called ) credits.
The losing team earns 1.
The credits are later used to buy rewards. These rewards are mostly charms or the ability to bring a head ( obtained from a slayer creature ) back to life as a pet.
The game has a full walk through to explain everything. | |

i think i last about 10 mins before i got pee'd off, as they was so many people there and noobs spamming, so i cant really comment on the game. however the rewards are excellent. its nice to see another way to get charms without having to kill monsters.
currently im f2p so havnt been able to try it out again without all the idiots spoiling the game, maybe when ive got some free time for a week il become a mem and have ago at it again.

3.  vakundekel (120) | 10 months ago |  I think that soul wars is minigame just for fun.
You would have to play for hours to get a few charms,
even if you win everytime.
It doesn't really matter how big slayer level you have,
because it is too hard to regain "slayer defense" for avatar.
Crawling hands for lower levelled players are nice,
but abbysal demon for 85 points is too hard to get.
(and you can get like 100k slayer xp instead)
I am a bit dissapointed because there isn't big diferrence
between soul wars and castle wars,
just killing weaker players so they won't annoy you.

| 4. wwerules51 (706) | 9 months ago |  Soul wars is a really enjoyable minigame. I was there the first day it came out. The aim of the game is to kill the other teams avatar. It is a fascinating minigame. It is a little like castle wars to some extent but instead of a flag it is the avatar. The other teams avatar has a slayer requirement. However this can be lowered by putting soul fragments in the obelisk. Soul fragments can be obtained from killing other slayer animals in the game. These slayer animals do count to your slayer task. For example if you had to kill pyrefriends for slayer and you killed them in the minigame it would count. Your avatar's slayer requirement can be restored by burying bones in your graveyard. There is a area to get equipment such as bandages and barricades. Capturing the soul obelisk and graveyards is really important. In the minigame you might see a grave rush. A grave rush is when you rush for their graveyard and try to outnumber them to capture it. This is very difficult to do but can be done. If you capture both graveyards, capturing the obelisk becomes really simple. There are two teams for this minigame,red and blue. You can attack players on the other team. I hope this explains everything. I am sorry for making this post so long.

| wwerules51 (706) | 9 months ago | Sorry, i forgot to mention the rewards. The rewards are xp in attack,strength,hitpoints,magic,ranged,slayer,prayer and defence. The xp given depends on your level. You can also get any type of charm which also depends on your level. You can get pets as well. There is also a gamble option. The gamble gives items worth and average of 26k. | |
