What will the Colts be like without Harrison?  

Well, the Colts have a salary cap and I guess he was wanting more money than that. However, I think when you look at his stats and the player that he is and how well him and Manning work together,then you have to step back and see if there is a reason to pay him above the cap. It worries me that we have allowed so many players this year to become free agents and we are going to lose more than just Harrison. I don't think that the exxecs are thinking about what they are doing as a whole in letting so many good players become free agents at once.

I suppose if he were an extraordinary player, and more skillful that he should get paid over the cap designed for the ordinary player. It does not matter how much he got along with the coach, or how much the other players cooperated with him, it has to do with his ability and I do not like that other players that are not as good going independent to get salaries they do not deserve.

I agree with you. I just think that he was a good player and worth keeping. I have seen the Colts allow several to become free agents this year and I am worried about how we will play without some of them.

I hope this is not the case of being penny wise and pound foolish, letting the other players off the team in a false effort to save money. Then they get players that are not as good, and yet do not play as well.

I agree with you but I am afraid that they might be trying to pinch pennies due to the fact that we are hosting the Super Bowl soon and that they have that new stadium and all of the costs associated with it.

Yes that sounds like it is. I hope that the taxes have not gone up because of the new stadium and that it was necessary, not some pie in the sky idea. I would hate that they lose more good players (not that i would know a bad one from a good one.) because of not paying what they are worth.

Taxes did go up due to the stadium and although it is nice, there is not a lot of good parking near it and you can pay up to $50 or more to park close to it. I don't like that at all.

And I suppose all the houses around charge for people to park in their yards. We had the same problem when we lived in Vancouver, B.C. and when we went to the Pacific National Exhibition, that we had to park far way from the stadiums and walk three or four blocks if we wanted to park for free.

Yes, it is expensive to even park in the yards. I was amazed at the prices that people are charging.

I know that Harrison has some age on him and some injuries but that doesn't mean that they should have let him go. I believe that they need to consider the game and his stats and etc. and decide that we need him. We might be able to do well without him,but I don't think so. I believe after Edgerin and Marvin,then we have to wonder if Peyton will be let go when his contract is up. He is the only one of the Three Musketeers left and it is not hard to imagine how we would be as a team without him.

I know that he hadn't been in great shape the past couple of seasons,but I just think that he deserved the money that he was asking for and I sure hate to see him leave. It seems as though he and Peyton had a working relationship on the field that he almost knew what was going through Peyton's mind. I wish him the best and I hope to see him back someday!
