Have you been professionally measured and fitted? |
|
Have you taken utmost care to ensure the bra you are wearing is meant for you, fit and comfort in mind, or do u just wear the closest size you think is yours. also, just wanted to share that always wearing underwired, though excellent for support causes cancer, so do be informed!

1. jessi0887 (2522) | 11 months ago | I have only been measured once. I was like fourteen. Now i just try different sizes on till i find the right one. Mainly because size and style is diffent and thin c cup would fit be well but a thick c cup wouldn't. And i thick d cup would fit me while a thin one wouldn't. So the style of the bra affects my sizing.

sunsham68 (864) | 11 months ago | Congrats on beating the cancer!! It was a newspaper article that I read, but I was just trying to find an update on the net, and here's what I found: http://www.007b.com/bras_breast_cancer.php. . In any case, better safe than sorry, if one cant entirely give it up,they can at least reduce the usage IMO..

Springlady (2039) | 11 months ago | That's a very interesting and informative article! Thank you for sharing that! I wonder if they can find something we (women) can wear instead of a bra that would be totally harmless.

3. makingpots (6663) | 11 months ago | I noticed in another of your discussions that you have a baby at home. It is also bad to underwire bras if you are nursing because of possible damage to engorged milk ducts. Just FYI.... you probably alread know that.
I have actually gone and been fitted for the right size bra. I needed to do it when I got pregnant just because I had no clue how to handle the changes happening to my body. After pregnancy my sizes changed again, and then again after I stopped nursing. I do occassionally wear old bras.... like on laundry day, hee. Once you have been fitted and know what you really need, it is such a difference to wear a misfitted bra.

sunsham68 (864) | 11 months ago | oh you are so sweet! thanks for your concern. No i am not wearing underwired now, simply because it was not available in a nursing bra here, guess it was good, cos I didnt know!! Guess I will have to repeat the drill u did once I am done nursing! Dont keep any old bras..am concerned about not having support and losing tone!! but i agree that its darnnn uncomfortable to have a misfitted bra! thanks again!
