Did you go to a PUBLIC or PRIVATE school/university?

I was in a private kindergarten, private primary school, private secondary school,

Public diploma

Private university.

To me, there are pros and cons to being in a private and public school in my country.

in my country, private colleges are so bad, they just want to make more money, and there are a lot of students that will finish that college, without knowing anything. I`m at public college, and it`s pretty hard. I pay there too, but i know that it will remain something in my head.. And maybe sometime that will be an advantage in competition with others.

I was educated in a private Catholic university from nursery to college. There are good public schools in the Philippines though and they're not just limited to state universities. Manila Science High and Philippine Science High School comes to mind. In the same token that not all private schools in the Philippines are excellent - there are a lot of private universities that have been suspended by CHED for having zero passing rate in board exams for their graduates.

i attended in a private nursery, semi-private kindergarten and elementary, private high school and college.. when i was in elementary, i really don't know if its a public or private school -- its a special school as we call it and many just says it is a semi-public and semi-private school as it has these factors that distinguishes a school as to private or public.. but whatever it may be, the point is, it has a good education way back my time! ( i don't know how is it going now)

Private school or university anywhere in the world is meant mostly for making money.However studying in private school/university is more fun than public.The main reason for having fun at private university is the girls.The girls at private university are more cool as compared to public.And talking about me,,even i had gone to private school and going to private university at present

from Kindergarden to high school (because next year I will start the university) I went to public schoolBecause my family never had enough money to send me to a private school.But I am satisfied,my teachers were very good and I made some good friends

Hello bubbletush! I would say that I was a product of public school. We are a big family. My father income's enough for our food. I would agree with you. Public school lack of facilities and the quality education. But when it comes to teachers, most of them are good teachers actually. Sad to say there are teachers who are lazy to teach and would just love to receive salary every month doing nothing.

But in college, I was given a privilege to study in private school. Thanks for my fathers hardwork and for God's blessings to us.

I studied from Elementary to my Master's in a private school. I had few friends graduated from public Universities which were good schools, like you said University of the Philippines and also Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM). They're one of the best schools that only intelligent students can get in. I think that private schools for Elementary and HS are way better than the public. Good quality of education is a must starting from young age.
