how do you install a wireless router?  |

| Well i bought a router, which the saleman told me that it is really easy to install, I came home arrange the wires and checked them several times. then I made settings step by step, however the internet did not work, the laptop read the connection but with no internet. I tried several times now i have given up and I am going to call the tec., for curiosity what can it be that I am doing wrong??? | | | | | |

| | Is it a ADSL router, if it is ADSL router then connect the router and configure the IP address and open some browser and in the address bar type "192.168.1.1" and then you can enter the modem home page and then configure the settings. | | Thank you I solved the problem and now I am on my laptop using the wireless, which is really useful. There was some conflict between the normal modem and the router and the tech solved in in five muinutes, It took me whole 4 hours to install it without sucess. At least I soled the problem and have the wireless sytem now. | | | |
