This date will be important in the history books
our kid's kid's kids will read about this date..
Obama says we will be out of Iraq at that time..
Do you believe? It's hard to at this point
but I sure hope so.
What do you think? Will we really finally be out of Iraq?

I don't see our armies out of Iraq in that time although I agree it would be great. I hear people saying none of us should be in there and to an extent i agree but we cannot be so irresponsible to go into the country turn it upside down then just walk out and leave it is civil disarray. I fear it will be many years before that country is stable enough to be left with no troops! xxxxx

I am afraid you are probably right about that. We cannot just stomp around and do as we like and then leave when we will. I think we will be facing a long course of global instability, due to economic failures. When we are in disarray financially it churns up unrest in many areas. I think it will be a long road to peace and prosperity.

well if a president makes the decision he can pull out anytime. It is about time everyone got out of iraq anyhow.

No one person can sway or move the laws and processes of the country. Obama will have to have cooperation to reach the things he wants. I have not seen politicians work together toward goals for a long time. We can always hope to have these positive results, though.

There's pros and cons as far as withdrawal from Iraq is concerned my friend, and it's difficult to say whether a complete withdrawal will help the situation. However, I guess it can't make things too much worse, so it's not a bad thing to go ahead and find out what the consequences are to be. I believe your troops WILL be withdrawn, because the statement has been so widely publicised... worldwide, but to what ends, nobody can foresee.
Brightest Blessings my friend, and I do hope that the right move is being made here, although I have my reservations. xx

I am not sure if it will happen or if it will not happen, but I really hope that Obama will have troops out of Iraq by then. It will be nice to have the USA as an occupying force in one less country. I just hope that America doesn't invade someplace else before this has a chance to happen.

i hope that they will be out of iraq this year than to wait for that said that. cause i think that the US has done enough help to stabilize the situation in that country. and that country should start getting back their country in good shape. but i admin though it will be hard without the help of the US government.
