photshop or power point 2007

I use photoshop Cs2 for editing my photos. I think powerpoint is only used for preparing presentations.

You should try photoshop for versatile photo editing. At first it seems very difficult but once you worked your way around then it's just as easy as 123. You can't do any photo editing with powerpoint.

These two softwares have different functions. Photoshop has greater editting functions, whereas powerpoint could give the best presentations. Maybe it is better to combine them to enjoy an even more beautiful life. What do you say?

If you just want to do general editing you should look for a simpler editor since PS CS4 cost you a butt load of money. And since you're not a digital artist you probably wont want to spend that money. You could try the GIMP, it's open source, free, and easy to use and can do most things you want it to do :)

I prefer photoshop for editing pictures. I don't know if powerpoint can edit pictures. I think its purpose is for presentation only. Photoshop do not over slide presentation but you can make an animation in it and it requires a lot of work. For editing purposes I choose Photoshop. For presentation and slide shows, I choose powerpoint. Why complicate things . Those software are created for such different purposes.

well, if use windows, i belief you'll find all tool/function that you need to enhance a photo in photoshop. there are many tutorial on photoshop awaiting for you to guide you how to unleash its true potential power... sadly i live in linux world, so i can't help you on this subject. happy mylotting.
