Do You Save Your Change?  

I have a couple of jars. One is just for pennies and the other is for quarters, dimes and nickels. Right now, they're not very full but a couple of years ago, they were and I rolled them and took them to the bank and used it for Christmas. Every little bit helps.

Sometimes, l do save some in my piggy bank container. Usually, after a few months, it will be full and l will bring it to the grocery shop to change them for dollars and keep them in the bank. Or sometimes, l will use it for some emergency need. Depends on situation.

I had a jar where I planned to put my change but I was never able to put change on a regular basis so it showed no improvement. These days I just put change in my pocket and use it for fare. Cheers!!

My sons both save all the change in these banks we bought them. The a digital readout showing them how much they've saved and our 6 yo is a big-time saver!
Our bank has a big machine that allows people to cash the coins in and they enjoy going with all their change.
Our 12 yo likes to spend his on video games (we make him save some) and our youngest puts all of his in the bank...he likes looking at how his savings is growing and loves the "free" money he gets when the bank pays his account interest.
My hubby has a couple huge coffee cans filled with change and we cash them in just before we go away on vacation... this year we hope that the change in those coffee cans is enough to pay the way into a Disney Park for our family of 4. Who knows, maybe it will get us into 2 Disney Parks!

I have and old laundry detergent thing that I throw all my change into. At the begining of every month I write down how much change I saved the month before (because I have a seperate jar I use first.) Then when the laundry thing is all filled I will take it to a change machiene and put the money on a visa gift card. That is what I will use to buy Christmas presents with this year. Over the past 2 months I have save $13.00! The first month I only had 3 dollars saved in change so if I keep up like I did this month for the rest of the year... that's pretty good!

I have a large jar which usually fills up about once a year. I take it to the coin machine and then cash in the receipt. Whatever money is there is then divided for my kids and deposited into their savings account. They didn't think much of it at first, but when I deposited nearly $150.00 into each of their accounts, they decided that it was worth it and everytim they get some spare change they put it in the jar. Little by little it does add up!

Everytime my husband and I go grocery and have a change i save it, put in the change jar or to my piggy bank then after a few days i gathered and count so i can put the special paper to ready to change a bills at bank. My husband laugh me all the time when I started to counts all penny since i patiently count it so i can change it. For me those change are big help for your savings too or daily needs after you change into bills.

I save it all, the bag it up and bank it. Which I find is quite handy to have that little bit going into the bank.

I do have a change jar. I have been periodically saving in. I really need to do a better job, as I tend to find spare change all around the house. I have dipped into it over the lasfew months for emergencies and was able to get essentials, bread, milk, cheese when funds were low....

No, not in a jar or anything. But, I do save it in my wallet when I need to spend it. I do plan to save up my change one day. My mil used to do this, and her husband ended up stealing her money that she saved up. It was over $50.00 worth of change..
