Hi..
I need to take protein shake as I am doing body building exercises. But I've heard that it has some adverse effect. So, I wanna know if anyone has experienced any side effects while taking protein shake. And I am also confused about the brand that I should take. If you have any experience on this please reply me..

Hi again...here's the composition of the Nutrilite Protein: -

* One 10g scoop provides 8g of high-quality protein from Soy Protein Isolate and milk protein concentrate, supplying balanced amounts of the nine essential amino acids.
* The 9 essential amino acids are indispensable and must be obtained through the diet or supplementation.
* Easily digested (Scores 1.0 – the highest possible PDCAAS score – the Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score).
* Contains and lecithin so the protein mixes well.
* Low in fat and cholesterol, in just 36 calories.
* An easy-to-mix formula.
* Suggested Use : Twice a day. Add one scoop (10g) to a 225ml glass of milk, fruit juice, vegetable juice or other liquid. Sweeteners or flavours may be added, if desired. Stir rapidly or shake vigourously in a covered container. Can also be sprinkled on rice dishes, cereals, salads or soups.
* 450 g per can.

I have lot of experience in this as I am a doctor. Protein shakes as such do not do any harm but some of them have steroids mixed in it which are harmful. So sure that they are from a reputed manufacturer. Secondly fats and carbohydrates are also necessary for the body.
