Does anyone have a swing?

My boyfriend has wanted to get a swing for the past four years. We haven't purchased one yet, I guess out of laziness. He thinks it would be great.
Does anyone have one? If so, would you recommend it or does it just sit in the closet? Is there anything in particular that a person should look for when deciding between different brands?
