hi there, Sreepu_d2009..
we have the same problem.
i've been learning to sleep early by going to bed even when i still don't feel sleepy. i would read a book or listen to soothing music. then i condition myself to wake up early. i also pray to God that He will wake me up at the right time. it works.
then when i am awake early, i try not to snooze some more. when i literally jump-start right out of bed and go straight to the shower, it perks me up! :)
happy myLotting!

Hi Sreepu,
I had the same problem when i was in school, every one in home was insisting me to sleep early so you can wake early and prepare for the school but i didn't listend them and i got the habit of late rising.
After finishing my school when i joined my office i had the same habit but i should have changed it and i did. I did change this habbit by joining the gym, When i arrive from my office i go to gym after gym i take my dinner and i really feel sleep early and then i take a good bath and go to bed, and at morning i wake up early i did this for a month and now it has been changed to habit. At first days i was giving alarm to clocks but in the last i woke before the alarm.
Hopefully you will also get the habit of early rising by joining some kind of sports.
Have a great time
cheers.

I think you shoul dtell yourself you are not tired because when you always say or feel tired then you feel tired anyway all the time. Second, do you want to sleep earlier day by day? Try to sleep before midnight first then ealier and littlearlier. Force yourself to get up early for maybe 1-2 weeks to try to get used to it. I hope this little advice can help you :-)

it's just going to take time to get use to it. i work 1 month of nights and then 1 month of days. but that is my routine. i have to get use to it, just as you have to get used to yours.

have you tried sleeping early?
like gradually.
i too sleep very late and wake up very late.
so on days that i'm needed to wake up real early like 6am, i sleep real early too. i'd sleep at 10. It's quite hard at times, but just lying on my bed and letting my mind not think of anything or simply day dream will help my body and mind relax. and before i know it i'm be in la la land.
and of course i'd need an alarm clock to wake me up. But i won't be as unagreeable as if i slept later.
