it was really endearing and filipinos can be proud of this place, like i am now. the beach was lined not with palm trees but with pines..

| |  That beach sounds lovely and I can picture it in my mind from your excellent description. There are some beaches in Europe that are backed by pine trees. I like such beaches and enjoy swimming in calm and pristine sea water. I admit that I prefer beaches with palm trees because I adore the tropics. It is now March and Monday was sunny but right now it has gone rainy again. This summer I hope to do some coastal walks close to home with my two dogs.
